ROG's FISH FRY 2007

stokage, grant newby (Mr.Fish Fry) sent me this pic of rog (second from the righthand side) and the team at the last Fish Fry in aussie 2007, and this pic of mike mackie checking out Rog's Fish, cool, Fish Fry 2008 should go off !, here are a few words from grant 'I have met Roger a couple of times in the past when I have been home to NZ as I grew up in Dargaville and my brother Lance lives and works in Whangarei at the Lands and Survey office.So when I have been going by I have dropped in to see Roger as I admire his craftsmanship and shapes. He has had a long held interest in fishes with his wooden ships project and thought he may be interested to follow it up and see what others were doing. Roger is an innovator and keen to experiment , so the Fish Fry was a great opportunity to see what others were doing.Mick Mackie was there with his flex tails and had a great yarn to Roger about their common interest.The whole point of the Fish Fry is for like minded people to get together in a non competitive situation which is a very new concept for most people in the surf industry'
