Yeah I was bummed to miss you yesterday as well. It would have been good to meet the man behind the lens. Thanks heaps for the record of the construction of my board. It was great to see it all come together. The board looks great and Roger and MATTador did a wicked job. I am stoked with it. Cant wait to get some decent waves to try it out on.
Next time I am up your way I will call in and say hi.

Got a real buzz this morning at Te Arai Point. A pod of around 20 Orca crusied around the point about 100 metres out from shore. We paddled out to them as fast as we could but couldnt catch up with then. A wicked sight to see such cool sea creatures sharing the ocean.
