Surfline in North West Afghanistan

An email from a very special (ops) customer, Jon S, 'How's things and how is my board coming, can't wait to get home my deployment has another four weeks to run and I will be back in paradise, I can just see and smell it now, from here it looks like paradise, mate I have attached two photos try and guess where's your surfline sicker, the pictures were taken in north west Afghanistan, we call our hummer the surfline mobile, the guys I am pictured with are contractors and ex US special forces, real good bunch of guys we had finished doing some shooting on a range, I stay in a US camp and everyone is getting use to the sticker now real funny, but definitely a contradiction to what I regard as a purest activity (surfing) and being in the middle of a warzone seems bazaar to say the least, we need to keep our humour when people are being killed around us otherwise we will go nuts', We look foward to meeting you when you come home, Micro*
