a very excited roger hall of Surfline Custom Surfboards http://www.surfline.co.nz/ rang me today with a story that has taken 30 years to come full circle, a circa 1975 WOODENSHIPS twin fin fish surfboard that he shaped for himself 30 years ago has made its way back to him and so of course he took it out to his local break for a paddle, FAST and LOOSE was the outcome, roggies stokeOmetre is on full, a pure time travel experience was had, next chance i get i will be off to the factory to get some images of the craft and some more words from rog for the blog, meanwhile here is a pic of the original WOODENSHIPS logo, hand drawn, super cool and totally original, also will be trying to get some pics and words together to document the evolution of the WOODENSHIPS and Surfline fish surfboard, i will keep you posted on this fishy tale, GO FISH !
